The HW is getting ready for the hospital. I am already on my 35th week and I am getting more excited everyday. This is already my third pregnancy but it has been totally different from the first 2. I feel that I will give birth, way earlier that I used to.

How do I feel now? I am more than ready, I guess. I am anticipating another baby in the household which means it will be another year filled with challenge. But before anything else, I will have to face the hospital first. I can still recall when I was first admitted in the hospital. This was during my first delivery. This was my first ever since I could remember and I was determined that time. I didn’t know what to expect so I didn’t complain of any pain. I guess I was too excited that I couldn’t differentiate pain and super pain.

When I was admitted, I just handed my admission form and everything was taken cared of. I may not be under the care of
Mariela Vasquez MD but I am confident with my doctors then. Aside from my OB, I had a Diabetologist to check on my blood sugar. I know that an anesthesiologist is just around the corner waiting for a signal if ever I need him. I know that these days, there’s this Doximity which for doctors’ use. It is an app for Android and Iphone that doctors use to communicate with different physicians on different field. It is like a network/database where they can look for doctors that they need on their team. It is very reliable since members are verified before joining the network.

This delivery, I need more doctors to look after me. I need an anesthesiologist for the epidural, my OB then baby’s pedia. I think the Diabetologist/IM is not needed this time since I am not diagnosed with GDM for this pregnancy.

All I pray now is safe delivery for baby Tamtam. I can’t wait to see him and hold him in my arms.
