PEAR FRUIT

Pear fruit is seen as a sweet juicy yellowish or greenish fruit with rounded shape which becomes narrower towards stalk. This fruit is picked when they are almost ripe and the fruit has to come off if we lift the fruit vertically. The late races are kept for many months at a dark place. The pear tree grows up to twenty meter high and therefore it is grafted on a quince stem so they look smaller and shorter. Pear trees are more commonly seen in many parts of European and Asian countries. Pear fruit ripens well in room temperature and it used as an edible fruit in Italian countries.
