When to consult a doctor?
When the Angina pain lasts for more than 10-15 minutes and is intense, doctor should be at once consulted. It may be due to Myocardial Infarction (heart attack). The Angina is for the first time. The pain persists even while rest is being taken. If the attack is while sleeping – it can be a symptom of heart attack and the doctor must be at once consulted.
